Kelly Jeans

Kelly Jeans has been with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for over 20 years working within the Movement Science Laboratory using the gait lab technology to research disorders and conditions that impact pediatric movement.

Her clinical research interests include clubfoot, amputee gait, cerebral palsy, scoliosis, and activity measures in children.

She has been involved in a longitudinal research study on children with clubfoot for most of her 20-year tenure.

Since 2019, Kelly has been a board member of the Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics and was nominated for the best paper at the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Development Medicine Conference, also in 2019.

Dr. Ford is an accomplished researcher in sports medicine and biomechanics.

His research involves innovative studies, which answer the question of why devastating injuries occur and to determine how they can be prevented.

He analyzes the biomechanics of complex movement patterns and sport skills that relate to prevention of injury or enhanced performance in a variety of populations from healthy athletes to patients suffering from traumatic injuries.
