loadsol® sensors enable mobile measurement of the normal force on the plantar surface of the foot. The system can be used for both static and dynamic measurements to accurately quantify the forces generated between the foot and the shoe.
The occurring forces provide important information concerning the kinetics of the body or object to be measured.
The textile, soft, deformable and ultra-thin sensors are designed to enable accurate assessment of gait analysis, load analysis or maximum force analysis in any environment and during any body movement, to name some applications.
Use loadsol® to capture the interaction between foot and ground accurately, effortlessly and with flexibility.
loadsol® sensors are used by many research and development facilities all over the world. Due to the flexible usability, the applications are very diverse.
Some of the many applications of loadsol include gait analysis, team-sport player monitoring, load measurement for fracture evaluation, analysis of ground reaction forces and balance, ACL injury rehab monitoring, post-surgical load monitoring, and much more.

Long-term measurements allow the evaluation of various parameters. The data is transmitted real-time to the mobile device, or stored on-board (loadsol pro) for transmission via BT or micro USB later. Data may also be transferred to a Google Drive cloud for storage and further analysis later. Additionally, the PC/Mac based novel Studio software offers an extensive evaluation of the loadsol® data on the computer.
The loadsol® pro insole can also be produced in a thinner version. The thiner version, specially designed for athletes, offers the same precise force measurement capabilities as our original insoles but with a slimmer profile. This thin version fits seamlessly into football boots and other sport footwear with limited space, ensuring comfort and accuracy without compromising performance. It provides the essential data you need to optimize your performance, all in a lightweight and unobtrusive design.
loadsol® pro can be upgraded to include a high-end 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) inside the electronics. The IMU includes a 16-bit tri-axial accelerometer and gyroscope, and can be used to analyze motion in additon to force.
| Parameter | Accelerometer | Gyroscope |

The loadsol® embd insole provides access to force data in real-time via direct connection. Using precision force data from various regions beneath the feet assists with achieving real-time control of your exoskeleton. Obtain instantaneous force insights from the plantar surface of the foot for immediate feedback. Seamlessly integrate a compact, precise, and dependable force measurement system.
The advanced force sensors scan quickly up to 200 Hz utilizing the integrated electronics. Force data is relayed as analog signals ranging from 0 to 2.5 V , with 2,000-step resolution, where each step corresponds to 2.5 N. This analog data is easily interpreted through your ADC, DAQ, data logger, or any preferred input.

The loadsol® insole conforms well to surfaces and therefore it is possible to wear with an orthotic or footwear with specialized footbed.
The electronics were intentionally not integrated into the thin loadsol® sensor to minimize a proprioception change of the plantar surface of the foot, the biomechanics of the gait, as well as the function of a corrective orthotic.
The miniature electronics can be attached to the upper part of the shoe, i.e. the laces or wrapped around the lower leg.
The loadsol® insole is available in children and adult shoe sizes and in four versions with different sensor area layouts.
Thus, the load on the foot can also be captured separately in up to three subareas.
For specific applications there are additional customizable divisions and sizes available.
